MUMBAI: Walkwater Media has been sent threatening letters because of its decision to make Tere Bin Laden, according to Real Bollywood.

The letters apparently accused the production company of supporting Osama Bin Laden and terrorism by making the comedy movie.

"The person who addressed the letter to us has got the theme of the film Tere Bin Laden all wrong. It doesn't deal with terrorism least of all support it. It's a light comedy," a source revealed.

The movie, which is directed by debutant Abhishek Sharma and stars Ali Zafar, tells the story of a Pakistani reporter who wants to emigrate to America but cannot get a visa.

However, one day he meets a farmer who looks like Osama Bin Laden and decides to make a video and sell it to the US media. The video changes his life.
