Raza Rabbani for immediate implementation of B’stan package ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Inter-Provincial Coordination Senator Mian Raza Rabbani has chaired two meetings in connection with implementation of Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan package held here on June 17 and 18.

“The meetings covered all aspects of Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan package, including constitutional, political, administrative and economic ,” said a press release issued here on Saturday.

The meetings were given briefing by the Secretary Interior, Addl. Secretary Ministry of Defence, Secretary Finance, Secretary Ports and Shipping, Secretary Planning and Development, Secretary Education and representatives of Higher Education.

Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Syed Naveed Qamar, Secretary Establishment, Secretary Petroleum and Chief Secretary Government of Balochistan also attended the meetings.

The meetings reviewed the implementation process and gave new “timeliness” to ensure speedy implementation of the various aspects of Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan package.

The meetings stressed that there was a need to implement the proposals more vigorously and expeditiously so that the results can be felt by the people of Balochistan.

Senator Mian Raza Rabbani made it clear that the government was determined to ensure the implementation of Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan package and it would not tolerate any further delay in its implementation.

The meetings decided that after expiry of new “timeliness” the Cabinet Committee on Balochistan and the Prime Minister would be apprised about the status of implementation.

While, in second phase a report would be presented in the Parliament after taking Balochistan’s parliamentarians into confidence.
