KARACHI: The tug boat sent for towing Egyptian sea vessel MV Suez with 22-member crew, who were released by Somali pirates recently to the Salalah port of Oman, has also broken down, proving it true that the misfortune never comes alone.
Social worker Ansar Burney told Geo news, “We are not worried about the ship, but for the members of the crew.” He said that seeking help from the Pakistan Navy the crew members would be rescued.
Ansar Burney said that the tug boat going out of order showed that insincerity of the owner of the vessel. MV Suez’s crews were left on the mercy of the sea facing all sorts of dangers since last two days.
He said he has cancelled his departure for Salalah, as all those released by pirates would be safely taken out home with the help of the Pakistan Navy.
