| GEO Business | | Oil prices fall in Asian trade | Updated at: 0841 PST, Tuesday, June 02, 2009 SINGAPORE: Oil prices eased in Asian trade Tuesday after rallying overnight to seven-month high, analysts said.
New York's main futures contract, light sweet crude for delivery in July, fell 67 cents to 67.91 dollars a barrel. Brent North Sea crude for July delivery shed 57 cents to 67.40 dollars.
It's probably a natural sort of retreat after a very strong rally, said energy market analysts here.
