Updated at: 1958 PST,  Friday, June 20, 2008
ICC team visits Karachi’s National Stadium KARACHI: The 16-member delegation of the International Cricket Council (ICC) visited the National Stadium Karachi on Friday to review the arrangements of the Champions Trophy.

Five of the 15 matches of the ICC Champions Trophy will be played in Karachi.

ICC’s event manager Chris Tetley is leading the 16-member ICC team for reviewing the arrangements of these matches.

Included among other members are the representatives of security, cricket operations, anti-doping, commercial event management, pitches and media who reviewed the arrangements regarding their own departments.

Communication officer ICC Samiul Hasan Burney told media that this is a routine tour by the iCC members who are quiet satisfied with the arrangements.

He said that the ICC has no information of the concerns by Australia and New Zealand.
