Opposition boycott draws govt notice LAHORE: Punjab Assembly’s treasury benches on Friday took serious notice of opposition’s boycott and demanded that they be brought round to participate in the budget session.

Acting Speaker Rana Mashood Ahmed headed the budget session of provincial Assembly.

Speaking on the occasion, Colonel (Retd) Shuja Khanzada said serious attempt was not made by the treasury benches to bring the opposition back to their benches. Acting speaker responded he was aware of the fact and efforts were underway to resolve the issue.

Punjab Assembly’s budget session adjourned till Saturday at 10am.
