AJK budget for 2009-10 presented in Assembly MUZAFFARABAD: Azad Kashmir budget for the financial year 2009-2010 was presented in Azad Jammu and Kashmir legislative assembly today (Saturday).

AJK Minister of Finance Chaudhry Latif Akbar presented the budget in the AJK assembly chaired by Speaker Shah Ghulam Qadir.

The volume of the tax-free budget is around Rs 35.40 billion. The allocations for the development budget are around Rs 10.75 billion, which is 13 percent more than the last year development budget for the region.
