 KARACHI: Former cricketers termed Pakistan’s victory in Twenty20 world cup as positive sign for Pakistan cricket and hoped that International Cricket Council (ICC) will review its decision of depriving Pakistan from World Cup matches.
Talking to Geo News after T20 victory, former captain Javed Miandad said the win is beneficial for Pakistan cricket and it is a reflection of Pakistanis love for the game. He praised the performance of Umer Gul and Shahid Afridi.
Ex- captain Rameez Raja while talking to Geo News congratulated Pakistani team and said it would give results in long term.
Former fast bowler Sarfaraz Nawaz expressed regret over Younis Khan’s decision of retirement from Twenty20 cricket and said Pakistan have proved its significance in international cricket.
