QUETTA: About Rs 25 million has been earmarked in the annual Balochistan Budget for Fiscal Year 2010-11 for newly established Women Development Department Provincial Finance Minister Mir Asim Kurd Gailo presented the Balochistan Budget having volume of Rs 152.100 billion in the Balochistan Assembly session on Monday evening.
An adequate amount has been allocated in the budget for setting up a separate directorate for Women Development, for which new posts have also been created.
The Minister added the provincial government was paying special attention for progress and prosperity of women. |  |
