 LAHORE: The fans waiting to welcome the players of national cricket team at Lahore airport had to meet disappointment when owing to security reasons, the players were secretly taken to National Cricket Academy through Hajj terminal early on Tuesday.
Talking to Geo news correspondent, fans said we were deceived by Punjab police as we had been waiting to receive national team for hours long at airport.
They said we cooperated with the security forces to the highest possible level even then but we are utmost disappointed over this deception.
We had gathered here to welcome our national heroes while even media persons were not allowed access to national players, they added. |  |
