T20 win gift for nation in face of prevailing unrest: Players LAHORE: The victorious Pakistan cricket players of the Twenty20 World Cup have termed the victory as a gift for nation which will help minimize the miseries of statesmen being faced by nation due to current panic and unrest found in country by suicide bombings.

They also reckoned the victory in T20 World Cup as an honor and respect for entire nation, giving credit to team effort for the success in the mega event.

Cricket heroes said this to media here in National Cricket Academy (NCA) following their early morning return to country.

Umar Gul who got out the most players in the event said, the reward money costing Rs. 500,000 seems much more little but players never look fro money while the youthful fast bowler Muhammad Aamir said he was under no pressure in final.

He said I am thankful to handy tips provided by Waseem Akram while spinner Saeed Ajmal said the victory is a gift for nation which became possible through team work as team has proved to be the best across world in this form of game.

Sohail Tanveer said nothing surprise could be better than this one while Salman Butt was grieved over missing chance to meet nation at airport on their return to country due to security threats.
