 3 terrorists nabbed in last 24 hours: ISPR

 ISLAMABAD: The security forces have apprehended three terrorists and injured four others; and also they recovered arms and ammunitions, while 4 soldiers were injured in Malakand and Dir.

Security forces carried out search and sweep operation in remaining Swat areas of Akhun Kale, Gamon Bridge, Rangeela, village Khazana, village Wakilabad, Baiddarra and Garai.

A suspected terrorist of Khawazakhela was apprehended from Besham. During exchange of fire between security forces and terrorists a soldier was injured at Kabbal.

Security forces conducted search operation in Dir area around Zhoaib post and Lal Qila. As many as two soldiers were injured due to explosion of Anti Personnel Mine, while a soldier was injured due to terrorists fire.

Security forces carried out search operation in Shewa and Utala, Adinzai and arrested two terrorists including local commander Iqbal and also recovered one signal communication device, two Rifles with ammunition and two Small Machine Guns. 

The forces continued the restoration of Services in the troubled areas and relief activities at relief camps. Road repairing and filling work is in progress on roads Malakand- Barrikot, Barrikot-Udgigram and Udigram-Balogram by the Army Engineers.

As many as 43 Tube Wells (as part of drinking water facility) have been made functional in Mingora. Five trucks of rations and relief items have been distributed amongst the IDPs of Malakand.
