Military operation has no backing of Parliament: Fazl ISLAMABAD: Amir Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl-ur-Rehman has said that the ongoing military operation in the country has no backing of the National Security Committee and the Parliament.

Addressing a program in Jamia Qasmia Islamabad, the JI Amir said: “The foreign forces have created chaotic situation in Pakistan by imposing their war on us.”

He termed the approach of using arms for demanding implementation of Shariah Law as incorrect but “the government should fulfill its responsibility toward enforcement of Shariah.”
