Military offensive continues in Malakand Division PESHAWAR: The military operation by the name Rah-e-Rast is continued in Malakand Division while the curfew is still clamped in Khwaz Khela, Madian, Behrin, and Kalam and Swat valley.

The curfew will remain relaxed from 6am to 8pm in tehsil Maidan and Adian Zai areas of Lower Dir on Saturday.

Heavy mortar shells were pounded on the suspected hideouts of militants found in Kabal and tehsil Charbagh but no causalities were claimed in preliminary reports.

People are still fleeing the restive war-zones from Malakand to IDPs’ camps set up at Malakand University Shringel, sources said.
