 IDPs sacrificed for future of Pakistan: Fauzia

 ISLAMABAD: Secretary Information PPP Fauzia Wahab said Friday IDPs of Swat and Malaknd division had rendered sacrifices to secure the future of Pakistan.

Talking to media she paid tribute to IDPs and said this is war for the survival of Pakistan and oblations given by IDPs are appreciable and would be written in history in golden words.

She reiterated that government was determined in its resolve to continue fight against terrorism till the elimination of last terrorist.

Fauzia Wahab further said though such huge influx of IDPs was not expected but government was providing every basic facility to them with the cooperation of NGOs and aid agencies.

Pakistan had suffered a lot economically owing to this war against extremists she said, adding positive thing is that now world especially US understands that Taliban are the result of Soviet war.

Aid pledged at the forum of Friends of Democratic Pakistan (FODP) is a manifestation that Pakistan is not an isolated country, she added.
