COAS visits Malir Garrison: ISPR ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani on Saturday visited Malir Garrison and went around various filed formations besides the School of Army Air Defence.Soon after his arrival the COAS laid wreath at Shuhada’s Monument.

The Chief of Army Staff later visited School of Army Air Defence where he was given detailed briefing on training aspects of the School.

The COAS also visited various Field Formations and witnessed their training activities.

He appreciated their ingenuity in training techniques specially in simulation. He also addressed the troops in training areas.

Later, he addressed the Garrison Officers.

On arrival at Karachi, Chief of Army Staff was received by Lieutenant General Shahid Iqbal, Corps Commander.
