 AJK polls: PPP wins 8, PML-N 2, MC 2

AJK polls: PPP wins 8, PML-N 2, MC 2 MUZAFFARABAD: The unofficial results of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly’s elections have started to pour in and so far results from constituencies have been received, Geo News reported.

Pakistan People’s Party is leading with eight seats while Pakistan Muslim League-N and Muslim Conference have bagged two seats each.

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) candidate and former Prime Minister Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry from LA-3 (City Mirpur-III) and President PPP AJK Ch. Abdul Majeed LA-2 (Chakswari Mirpur-II) have also won their seats.

Other PPP candidates who won their seats included Afsar Shahid LA-1 (Dadayal Mirpur-I), Syed Azhar Hussain Gillani (LA 39, Valley-4), Sardar Yaqoob of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) (LA 19 Rawalakot-3), Abdul Salam Butt (LA-40, Valley-5) Sardar Qamar Zaman (LA-14, Bagh-II) and Chaudhry Abdul Majeed (LA-2, Mirpur).
