 MALAKANAD: The operation against extremists continues in Malakand Agency and Swat and the security forces have gained control of the area of Kalil Kandao, a suburban area of Mingora.
According to sources, shelling from the security forces continues with regular intervals at hideouts of the militants in various areas from Himargarah Cantonment to Tehsil Maidan.
However, no loss of life has been reported .
Previous day, the security forces arrested three militants from Shamozai, an area of Chakdara in lower Dir.
In-charge operation Col Arshad, giving briefing to media, told that the area of Isband from Chakdara has been cleared.
Meanwhile, the security forces have gained control of the area of Kalil Kandao, a suburban area of Mingora.
As per media centre Swat, curfew in Shangla, Madyan and Khwazakhela will be relaxed today from 8-00 am to 5-00 pm. |  |
