 ANKARA: Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Tariq Majeed and Turk President Abdullah Gul held one-on-one meeting here on Monday, Geo news reported.
Belling out his country’s, people’s and government’s strong resolve to stand by Pakistan through all odds, coming in way of war on terrorism, Turkish president reiterated determination to keep cooperating with Pakistan in curbing regional and international terrorism.
He urged need for formation of Turk-Pak joint institute to enhance military cooperation between two countries.
“Turkish government is proud of Pakistani army over its successive offensives against militancy”, he maintained adding that we want to learn from the experiences of Pakistani military to uproot extremism.
CJCSC, on the occasion, assured Turkish President Gul of Pakistani army’s all-out support in all aspects against menace of terrorism. |  |
