Cyclone Phet 330km away from Karachi KARACHI: The tropical Cyclone Phet is roaring toward Pakistan and currently 330 km away from Karachi, Geo News reported on Saturday.

According to Chief Meteorologist Mohammad Riaz, the cyclone was moving toward Pakistan at a speed of 12km/hr and currently at a distance of 330km from Karachi.

Torrential rains are predicted for Sindh including Karachi from Saturday evening and will continue till Tuesday.

The intensity has been weakened to Category one and it may not hit Karachi coastal belt, chief meteorologist added. Some areas of the metropolis receive light showers today.
