Updated at: 1324 PST, Monday, June 07, 2010 ISLAMABAD: The government has announced imposition of tax of Rs.5 per 10 cubic feet on gas, which will add average Rs.10 in the bills.
According to experts, the tax will be beneficial for commercial consumers whose consumption is much higher than domestic consumers. The government is expecting revenue of Rs. 5.8 billions annually through the tax.
