Attabad Lake water outflow exceeds inflow HUNZA: Water outflow from Attabad Lake has exceeded inflow, causing the water level to slide by 2.5 inch in the lake.

Water outflow has crossed 5000 cusec which is the current rate of inflow at the landslide-created lake and it is being viewed as a positive development.

The melting of glaciers has also witnessed increase due to the rising temperature.

Continual monitoring of water inflow into the lake is being undertaken from Phassu area.
