 BANNU: An indefinite curfew has been clamped in the town for maintaining law and order here.
The police this morning announced the imposition of curfew through loudspeakers and by resorting to aerial firing.
Immediately following the announcement of curfew, all trading centers in the vicinity of six police stations went shutting down and the citizens confined themselves within their homes.
Sources said that the General Bus Stand has also been evacuated. The ongoing examinations in Science and Technology University have been deferred until June 21 due to curfew.
