Security forces clear Asfanar to Goragat area SWAT: Security forces have cleared Asfanar to Goragat area in tehsil Adenzai during ongoing operation ‘Rah-e-Rast’ in Malakand Division as locals started returning back to their homes in Maidan and Adenzai during curfew break.

According to sources, security forces gained control of Asfanar to Goragat area after eliminating the militants whereas houses of two militant commanders Salahuddin and Sadiq were blew up in Shawa and Tazagiram areas respectively.

Meanwhile, militants burnt three more girls’ schools in Maidan. The schools set on fire are government girls’ high school Sangolai, government girls high school Chinar Kot and government middle school Sherkhanai.

People started returning back to their homes in tehsil Maidan and Adenzai where curfew relaxation has been announced till 7:00 pm.

Action against militants continued in Chota Kalam and Shakardara areas of tehsil Matta of Swat and security forces shelled militants’ hideouts in Dugdara in Dir Upper. Skirmishes between national Lashkar and militants continued in Shotkas and Ghazigai areas.
