Updated at: 0346 PST,  Wednesday, July 01, 2009
AKTI rejects increase in PoL prices KARACHI: Rejecting the increase in petroleum prices, the president of All Karachi Transport Ittehad (AKTI) Irshad Bukhari, has demanded government of immediately withdrawal of the decision.

He warned government against halting transport in case their demand was not heeded.

This he said while talking to Geo news. He said petroleum prices have not gone inflated in international market therefore the inflation here in PoL prices is needless.

Irshad Bukhari said government is forcing transporters to enhance fare charges, which shall make people overburdened, urging government to withdraw their decision at once.
