 LAHORE: A meeting of Council of Pakistan Newspapers and Editors (CPNE) and journalist organizations strongly condemned the adoption of resolution against media in the Punjab Assembly, demanding unconditional withdrawal of the same.
A joint meeting of CPNE, PFUJ, PUJ, APNEC and representatives of Punjab Assembly press gallery was held here on Saturday.
The meeting agreed that no negotiations be held with Punjab government, for the resolution adopted by Punjab Assembly is no less than a drone attack on media.
The representatives of journalist organizations demanded that MPA Sanaullah Masti Khel, who moved the resolution against media, be served a show cause notice. |  |
