 KSE-100 Index gains 55 points

KSE-100 Index gains 55 points KARACHI: The benchmark KSE-100 Index of Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) witnessed an increase of 55 points to close at 7,686.

The market started today’s journey in the green zone and remained positive throughout the session as investors actively took positions in energy and cement sectors.

The trade volume was strong at 230 million shares.

DG Khan Cement was the volume leader which gained Rs1.51 to close at Rs34.07.

KSE-30 Index finished the day 31 points up to 8,258.
