Four Nato containers torched in Quetta
Updated at: 0331 PST,  Friday, July 16, 2010
Four Nato containers torched in Quetta QUETTA: Unknown miscreants opened fire on four Nato-supply containers in Mach locality of tehsil Bolan in Quetta city late on Thursday night, setting them ablaze, which has left them completely gutted.

According to sources, Nato containers were heading to Afghanistan en-route Quetta from Karachi, carrying oil and other logistic materials on them. When the drivers stopped along a hotel on National Highway, some unidentified gunmen attacked and set containers on fire by resorting to indiscriminate firing.

Fire tenders have been called in from Quetta and Sibbi to tame fire, which is reportedly raging fiercely, officials said.
