ISLAMABAD: The Council of Common Interest (CCI) is all set to hold its meeting here in Islamabad today, wherein, the formal approval would likely be granted for collection of funds required for construction of Diamer Bhasha Dam, Geo news reported sources as saying.
Source said the all four chief ministers will attend the meeting besides member Sindh Syed Naveed Qamar, member Balochistan Humayun Aziz Kurd, member Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa Arbab Aalamgir will represent their provinces.
Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilnai will participate in meeting being representative of Punjab province, sources said.
The Premier is also the chairman of CCI. The project of Diamer Bhasha Dam has been sent in jeopardy following the refusal of provision of funds from IMF. |  |
