 MARDAN: A suicide plot, which might prove to be deadly, was foiled when two suicide bombers were killed in a bid to carryout a suicide attack on security forces present within Punjab Regiment Center (PRC) here in Mardan, Geo news reported Tuesday morning.
Meanwhile, four security men sustained minor injuries in retaliatory firing, Geo news reported.
According to details so far reached here, terrorists launched a suicide attack on PRC in Mardan, injuring four security soldiers on Thursday morning, but failed to obtain ill-desired results as security forces retaliated in be-fitting passion, killing both suicide bombers on the spot.
Heavy contingents of police and rangers have placed a stern cordon around the incident site with some reports of exchange of fire between forces and miscreants, it has been learnt. |  |
