ISLAMABAD: The Senate standing committee for textile has sought from the federal government extension of one month in regulatory duty on export of yarn, Geo news reported Tuesday.
This was decided amid a meeting held here in Islamabad with Gul Mohammed Laat in chair on Tuesday, Geo news reported.
The expiry of the date of regulatory duty on export of yarn was due to end on July 26, but now the new expiry date will fall on August 26.
On the occasion, the Textile Ministry apprised committee that owing to fruitful measures taken by the government, a total of 60.40-coror kilogram yarn was exported during last fiscal year. |  | | | |
