President to use 58-2(b) if govt fails to improve conditions: Pervez Elahi LAHORE: Opposition leader in National Assembly, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi Saturday warned that the President may use 58-2(b) if the government failed to improve law and order as well as economy of the country.

According to media report, he said the present government cannot tackle the challenges facing the country in the leadership of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).

“The President is concerned about the instable political situation, economic condition and law and order in the country,” he said adding, the President may have to use 58-2(b) if this situation persisted.

Pervez Elahi said the time is not too far off when the people started demanding of the present government to resign because the it has failed to fulfill the promises it made before general elections.
