Gilani-Shahbaz meeting in progress LAHORE: The meeting between prime minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and chief minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif is in progress here on Sunday.

In the meeting being held at the prime minister’s residence here in Defence, views are being exchanged between the two leaders on working relationship of the two political parties in the coalition government of Punjab, performance of the committee formed for prevention of the 17th amendment and to make the judges’ appointment a part of the charter of democracy.

Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani called Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Quaid Mian Muhammad Nawaz on telephone last night and invited PML-N leader and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on luncheon today.
