Hearing adjourned in Musharraf case ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court adjourned hearing of the petition for registering FIR against former president Pervez Musharraf, former prime minister Shaukat Aziz and Aftab Sherpao till August 17.

Coordinator Defence of Human Rights Khalid Khwaja had filed a petition in the Islamabad High Court that he was kept in illegal detention during the previous regime on orders of Pervez Musharraf, Shaukat Aziz and Aftab Sherpao and police is not registering case against them.

He requested the court to direct police for registering an FIR.

Giving remarks on the request, justice Ramzan Chaudhry said that if former president Pervez Musharraf appears in the Supreme Court then he can be summoned for appearing also in the high court.
