Rupee drops most in two months as U.S. Dollar demand builds KARACHI: Pak Rupee dropped the most in two months as higher prices for commodity imports and payments on overseas borrowings boosted demand for U.S. dollars on Tuesday.

The Rupee fell 0.7 percent to 83.08 per dollar as of 1p.m. in Karachi. Earlier on October 17, 2008 it reached a record low of 83.55.
