Heavy rain lash twin cities ISLAMABAD: The heavy downpours were reported on second consecutive day here in Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Tuesday, Geo news reported.

The light and heavy rains also fell on some adjoining parts of Islamabad while 35-millimeter rain was recorded in Federal Capital and 45-millimeter in Rawalpindi last night.

According to met office, the rains have been reported in upper parts of country besides twin cities for last some days which are being brought by the monsoon winds blowing from West.

The ongoing rains in twin cities and adjoining upper areas will start to come to end from Wednesday afternoon, met office concluded.
