 Number of CNG stations crosses 3000

 KARACHI: The number of CNG stations outgrew 3000 during the current fiscal year in the country.

Talking to Geo News Wednesday, CNG Stations Owners Association Chairman Malik Khuda Bux said the number of CNG stations stands at 2941, while, 41 others being installed with the machinery at the moment.

He said 100 pumping stations have licenses and they may start functioning any time.

Khuda Bux said the number of CNG cars rose to 2,191,000 and three to four percent increase has been recorded in the CNG sale owing to the raise in prices of petroleum products.
