 ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Thursday telephoned Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and expressed his grief over the loss of life and property.
Gilani instructed the Chairman NDMA to provide relief to the affected population in coordination with Provincial Government.
PM Gilani also rang up Chairman CDA and expressed concern over choked drainage system in different parts of the federal capital. He ordered that the water accumulated in Islamabad be drained.
PM ordered that CDA teams should be seen in all parts of the city to rectify the drainage system in the city.
He also directed that CDA staff coordination with traffic police should ensure that there were no traffic jams in and around the city because of rainwater. |  | | | |
