 KARACHI: The prices of cotton and raw cotton continued to climb in local market to hit record high.
Chairman Karachi Cotton Broker Forum Nasim Usman told Geo News that per maund price of cotton reached to Rs.6, 900 with the increment of Rs.100 per maund. Same prices were also recorded in the last season.
On the other hand, prices of raw cotton also increasing and touched record level of Rs.3, 225 with the increment of Rs.125 in per 40 kg.
Nasim Usman said it was expected that prices will be fall after new crop but it could not happened.
