Haqqani vows to continue terror war for survival
Updated at: 0430 PST,  Thursday, July 30, 2009
WASHINGTON: Pakistan envoy to US Husain Haqqani has said on Wednesday that government reiterated its resolve to continue with the war on terrorism for the survival of Pakistan.

This he said amid a University address here in Araknsas state. He said the influx of US-led NATO troops into Pakistan through Afghanistan could be detrimental to us as we are fully capable of countering terrorism within our borders.

Internally displaced persons (IDPs) from Swat and Malakand Division migrated to safer places within country to avoid becoming human shield, he concluded.
