 Two hurt in Karachi group clashes

 KARACHI: At least two persons suffered injuries when armed groups clashed in Gardan Town locality here on Friday morning, Geo News reported.

Armed men belonging to two political groups had an argument over a trivial matter, which turned into fierce clashes, involving heavy gunbattle, police said.

Two persons, identified as Arif and Suleman, were injured after exchange of fire, who have been immediately rushed to hospital for medication.

Clashes sparked enough tension and panic to early closure of shops and other businesses in town.

Heavy contingents from police and rangers have arrived to maintain the law and order situation while police claimed to have arrested two suspects accused of having links with incidents.
