MQM-PPP deadlock persists in Sindh KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) member Dr Sagheer Ansari said that Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah would take up any decision regarding the notification and withdrawal of petition.

A meeting of the coordination committee of MQM and Pakistan People’s Party was held today (Friday) at 3.30pm to discuss the details; however, the deadlock between the two sides still persists.

The reconciliation process between MQM Chief Altaf Hussain and President Asif Ali Zardari will be taken ahead, Dr Sagheer said.

The issue will be resolved at the negotiations table and mutual understanding and reconciliatory approach will be employed to resolve the issue between the two sides, he added.

According to Geo News, if the committee fails to settle this issue, them it would be taken to Altaf Hussain and President Zardari to be resolved once and for all.
