Constitution silent on judges’ restoration: Naek ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Law, Farooq H. Naek Friday said the Constitution is silent on the issue of judges’ restoration.

Talking to media after his meeting with the delegation of Punjab Bar Council, he said NWFP will soon be renamed as Pukhtunkhwa.

He urged the lawyers community to be patient. The government is very much on the path towards restoring the deposed judges.

Farooq H. Naek said cheques of Rs30 and Rs50 million will soon be issued to Pujab Bar Council and Pakistan Bar Council respectively.

He said recommendations of coalition partners are awaited on the constitutional package which will be presented before the Parliament after consultations.
