| GEO Pakistan | | Man kills spouse, 3 in-laws over family row | Updated at: 0611 PST, Sunday, July 04, 2010 BAHAWALPUR: A man allegedly gunned down, over a family dispute, his wife and three in-laws including mother-in-law, sister-in-law and brother-in-law in a village close to Bahawalpur district on Saturday night, Geo news reported.
Police sources said the accused Sarfaraz Ahmed would have scuffling quiet often with his wife and in-laws as complained by area residents.
Many times senior area residents had come to rescue them by being arbitrators to settle down conflicts but issues kept rising.
Suspect Sarfaraz scuffled with wife on Saturday evening and after having flying into rages, he opened fire on his in-laws, killing wife (Moona) sister-in-law (Farzana), mother-in-law (Aisha Bibi) and 16-years-old brother-in-law (Imran) and fled the crime scene.
Police have shifted dead bodies to Bhawalpur Victoria Hospital for autopsy, police said. |  |
