 KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister, Shazia Marri has strongly condemned the statement of the City Nazim Mustafa Kamal against PPP's government, terming it display of highly irresponsible attitude.
Speaking to media in Karachi, the minister urged the leadership of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) to take notice of these statements of their Nazim.
“People’s Party was not formed by ISI,” Shazia Marri said, adding, “Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto turned Pakistan into an atomic power and we are proud to be a part of his party.”
She criticised the mayor of attempting to damage the on-going reconciliation policy for political stability. The minister also accused him of committing treason by uttering irresponsible statements challenging the sovereignty of the country.
The minister, however, appreciated MQM's approach which immediately discredited the mayor's statements as violating party discipline. |  |
