 LAHORE: Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan, Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad Saturday said facility of accessing information regarding electoral process as well as voters’ record will be made available on mobile phones.
He said announced this while presiding over a meeting of Provincial Election Commission here.
He said Pakistan is the first country in the world to introduce such facility and termed it a revolutionary step. The new changes will bring more transparency and minimize the chances of errors, he added.
Kanwar Dilshad said the facility of finding voters entry in the voter’s list is already available on the Internet. The voters can now also locate their polling station on the Internet. |  |
