LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif gave assurance to Lahore High Court Bar for the provision of financial resources to meet Bar’s expenses and also a housing scheme, Geo News reported Monday.
Talking to office-bearers of LHC Bar in a meeting at CM House, he announced to construct an IT Lab for lawyers’ convenience.
According to the official statement, the CM Sharif also fell in with providing free medical facilities to the lawyers.
On the occasion, Sharif directed immediate steps for the extension of the LHC Bar’s hall.
The meeting also decided that the committee headed by the Law Minister would take stock of all the proposals in concert with the LHC Bar’s office-bearers, to present them in finalized form within seven days.
A forensic lab established in the province, the best in South Asia, would start functioning from October, he added.
