 MUZAFFARGARH: A man killed his four children and inured two others in Khairpur Sadaat area of district Muzaffargarh on Monday.
Police said laborer Abdul Salam, a resident of badani village, beat his six children with the sticks after which four died and two received sever injuries.
Victims were identified as Nadeem, Samia, Khadija and Shabana. Shakila and Safia were shifted to Bahawalpur Victoria Hospital for medical treatment.
In his statement, father of the deceased children told police he killed his children over poverty. On the other hand, father of accused said Abdul Salam had been suffering mental illness, for which, he remained under treatment.
Police registered F.I.R on the compliant of children’s uncle. |  |
