Asia Cup: Pak juniors’ hockey squad head to India KARACHI: Pakistan’s 22-member squad has left Pakistan for India to participate in the Junior Asia Cup Hockey Tournament here on Tuesday.

The 8-nation competition will get underway in Hyderabad from July 11 to 18.

Teams participating in the event have been divided into two pools. Pool A comprises of India, Malaysia, Japan and Singapore while Pakistan Bangladesh, Korea and Oman are placed in Group B.

Pakistan will face Oman in its first encounter. Top six teams of the tournament will automatically qualify for the junior World Cup.
