HYDERABAD: Federal Minister for Finance, Naveed Qamar Tuesday said steps are being taken to stabilize the value of rupee against dollar but expressed government’s unwillingness to print money.
He was addressing an open Kutchery after attending luncheon hosted in his honour by District Government of Hyderabad.
Naveed Qamar assured the district that funds for Hyderabad Package will be released.
He said Benazir Support Programme will be launched from August 14 to provide relief to the poor while vocational centres are being established to train the youth.
The Finance Minister said that the government did not want to publish currency because this will have further increase the rates of essential goods. |  |
